Koiratarvike Haukkula, a pet supply company specialising in dog products, was ready for a fresh direction and a rebrand that would secure its place in Finland’s highly competitive pet industry. Following the acquisition, the brand’s former identity and positioning no longer aligned with the company’s future vision. Together, we explored Haukkula’s brand from nose to tail, transforming it from strategy to marketing platform to reflect its new direction.

We began with extensive research and insight work to lay a solid foundation for change. Haukkula’s new strategic direction and positioning were ultimately found in becoming a quality specialist in everyday dog life, someone who has the confidence to step away from convention. The new marketing platform ensures a consistent narrative across the entire customer journey. A trusted quality ambassador keeps its paws on the ground and speaks openly and honestly about the realities of dog life – never hiding behind artificial cheer or fluff and offering only the very best for the very best.

Haukkula’s new identity is truly distinctive in its market. Its playful and colourful personality radiates both quality and cheerful boldness while helping it stand out from the masses. Adding a distinctive spark is Haukkula’s very own dog character, which features throughout all communications and marketing touchpoints.
